For over 50 years, Airbus has been a major industrial partner in Morocco, thanks in particular to the subsidiary Stelia Aerospace. On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the brand, we introduce you to this pioneer of aeronautics in Morocco.

Stelia Maroc (Ex Morocco Aviation, created in 1951), the Moroccan subsidiary of the European aviator, specializes in composites. Its activity focuses on draping and machining, which allows the manufactured parts to be shaped using state-of-the-art machines, according to the group's top management.

In 2016, the manufacturer of commercial aircraft components decided to set up a new production plant in Nouaceur. With an investment of 410 million dirhams, this new facility is added to a first plant already established in the same area. Stelia Morocco occupies today an area of ​​25,000 m² including 16,500 m² for the plant.

As a reminder, Stelia Aerospace was born this year from the merger of the Airbus Aerolia and Sogerma subsidiaries. The company specializes in the manufacture of 1st class and business class seats as well as pilot cockpits.
