SAN BIAGIO DI CALLALTA – A serious accident at work today in Olmi di San Biagio di Callalta: a man, Maurizio Tonon, was crushed by a tractor, dying from the injuries reported. The incident occurred in a plot on Via Bagnon, where the 66-year-old was working.
For reasons that are not yet fully understood by man, resident in the area, was overwhelmed. Based on the findings, Tonon was hit by the tractor during a reverse maneuver. The event took place on a farm where he was helping an acquaintance in maintenance of the fund.
The sanitary ware of the 118 arrived on the spot, who helped him and then urgently took him to the emergency room, where he died after a serious injury. The Carabinieri and the Spisal inspectors arrived at the site to investigate the case.
