Laval University's Rouge et Or defeated McGill 39-3 in a game played this afternoon at Percival Molson Stadium.

The Rouge et Or dominated from one end to the other to score their fifth victory in six outings. The championship of the regular season will be at stake next Sunday at the PEPS, while the Carabins of the University of Montreal will be the visitors. As for McGill who has a record of two wins and five losses, they will enjoy a week off before rubbing against the Concordia Stingers to conclude their season.

In his third career game, Thomas Bolduc completed 11 of 27 passes for 184 yards, including a 50-yard run for Mathieu Robitaille. He completed 7 of 14 passes for 148 yards in the first half.

After a third quarter when both teams were unable to register, McGill broke the ice early in the fourth quarter on a 16-yard find from Findlay Brown.

The Rouge et Or opened the scoring with a 13-yard pitch from David Côte in their second offensive series.

Well placed to make a successful investment when they picked up the ball, McGill smashed.
