Over 500 million in the reduction of funds for corporate incentives, another 420 million in tax cuts for 2019
Over 3 billion cuts to the 2019 budget of the ministries, most – 2.9 billion – to the Mef budget. These are the coverings of the maneuver that the government is about to launch, with the text of the decree still waiting to be "stamped" by the accounting department. In the latest version, the new loan for Alitalia is 400 million (compared to the forecast of 350 million) and lasts six months.
One of the main cuts is that of corporate incentives, which for 2019 is reduced by 505 million euros. Another 100 million will arrive, again from the "Competitiveness and business development" chapter, from the "support interventions through the tax system" heading. Six hundred and sixty million will instead be the cuts for 2019 of the item "financial charges relating to treasury management". A cut of 420 million is instead envisaged for the item «accounting adjustments, refunds and refunds of taxes». Six hundred million cuts in reserve funds.
In addition, the higher revenue envisaged by the tax decree will allow 5.3 billion to be placed in the tax-cut fund for 2020. In the following years the fund that allows the reduction of taxes is increased by 4.4 billion in 2021, 4.2 billion for each of the following years up to 2025. The resources – it is established – "are destined to the attainment of the programmatic objectives of the public finance maneuver".
