MILAN – An extraordinary Board of Directors of Cattolica Assicurazionii, today October 31, has revoked the delegations to the managing director Alberto Minali. Alberto Minali has been managing director of the Cattolica Assicurazioni group since 1 June 2017. The board of directors has assigned the powers to the general manager Carlo Ferraresi. Essentially the basis of the board's decision differences with Minali on strategic vision and corporate organization, while there would be satisfaction with the financial results achieved by the manager. In particular, from environments close to the shareholders, it is noted that in recent years Cattolica has made important progress in corporate organization, also adopting monistic governance and accepting Warren Buffett among its members, but it remains a cooperative with its own specific characteristics.
