Strate J: solar panels for 2020

The Strate J Campus will have a solar roof in the summer of 2020. The date was announced Thursday in a statement. Nearly 740 square meters of photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof of the building. The annual output will be 147,000 kilowatt hours. Electricity will be consumed 86% to cover the needs of building users. The balance will be reinjected into the network. The project is carried out in collaboration with SID, the Delémont Industrial Services. The City Council of the Jura capital had accepted last May a credit of 350'000 francs for the realization of the project. / Comm-foc
