A 45-year-old suspect has been arrested for threatening his ex-spouse, after hiding behind his home on Wednesday night in Saguenay.
According to Lieutenant Savard of the Saguenay Police Service (SPVS), the suspect was concealed under a grove in the complainant's backyard and "he was waiting for her to finish working".
The police arrived on site at 8:00 pm, but it was not until midnight, at 1:15 am, after a long raking, that they found and arrested the individual in the borough of Chicoutimi .
The man, who normally lives in Quebec City, was expected at the courthouse in Chicoutimi in the morning, Thursday.
