What is a social allowance?
What is social security? Since 1966, the Social pension has been replaced by the new INPS social allowance as an economic benefit that is due regardless of the payment of mandatory contributions, if the citizen has no other income that allows him to survive.
The right to social allowance, therefore it is up to the people who possess specific requisites, that is, who fall within certain income limits, depending on whether the applicant is married or not and that, each year in January, the INPS communicates publicly, and personal requirements.

Another feature of the social allowance is that, unlike other types of pensions, it is not reversible in favor of the heirs in the event of the death of the holder in addition to the fact that it is lost in the event that Italy is left forever or is suspended in the event of a stay abroad of more than 30 days.
When is the social increase due?

Social allowance amount: what are the new amounts?

How far is the payment of the social allowance?
