NHL: The Blue Jackets defeated the Sabers 4 to 3 for their first win this season

            <p>COLUMBUS, Ohio - Rookie Alexandre Texier scored at 2:08 in overtime and the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Buffalo Sabers 4-3 on Monday.

The Frenchman beat Linus Ullmark with a wrist shot from the left circle, following a pass from Nick Foligno. This last had delighted the record to the captain of the Sabers, Jack Eichel.

Victor Olofsson of the Sabers tied the game at 18:46 in the third period, with Buffalo on the power play.

Foligno, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Cam Atkinson scored the other goals for the Blue Jackets, outclassed 10-3 overall in their first two games of the season.

Joonas Korpisalo made 15 saves, 25 less than Ullmark. Marcus Johansson and Jeff Skinner also scored for the Sabers, who will host the Habs on Wednesday.
