The number of tourists, all nationalities, who visited the city of Agadir during the month of August 2019 reached 152,878 against 150,576 arrivals during the same period last year, an increase of 1.53% .
According to the statistics of the Regional Council of Tourism (CRT) of Agadir Souss-Massa, the Moroccans arrive at the top of the clientele of the various tourist accommodation establishments, a total of 82,752 visitors against 76,676 in 2018 (+ 7.92% ).
French tourists occupy the second position with 21,384 arrivals, followed by the English (10,601) and Germans (8,024). The same source states that hotels rated "4 stars" have welcomed the largest number of tourists, 40,445, followed by tourist residences (27,375), tourist clubs (27,367) and hotels "5 stars" (26,252).
The occupancy rate recorded in the various classified tourist accommodation establishments of this destination is estimated at 75.60%, according to the same source.
