The 113th edition of the Paris-Tours, 217 kilometers long, took place this Sunday. While Soren Kragh Andersen (Sunweb), the winner of last year, had escaped at the front of the race, he punctured on a grape road about 53 kilometers from the finish. During his repairs, he was overtaken by the Belgian Lotto-Soudal, Jelle Wallays. Despite the wind and the bad road conditions, he managed to maintain his lead over the Dutchman Niki Terpstra (Total-Direct Energie), the Belgian Oliver Naesen (AG2R-La Mondiale) and the French Arnaud Demare (Groupama-FDJ) . This is Wallays' second win on the event after 2014.
