In Imola, in fact, in the Cinque Stelle house tensions with Sangiorgi were the order of the day and there are those who explicitly say how his expulsion is now close. A few nights ago, there was a meeting with the activists, which ended badly. Then the elections in Umbria, which gave a hard blow to that axis between Movement and Pd to which the now former mayor had opposed immediately. But the understanding Pd-M5s in Emilia Romagna it doesn't just wobble at Imola. Yesterday, the day after the flop in Umbria, the governor Stefano Bonaccini reiterated that, if the M5s shares the PD's plans and its goal of not landing the Alloy and the sovereign right wing in the Region, the five-star support is welcome. However, the mix between the two political forces continues to be difficult. And above all this combined marriage – with the hypothesis of extending it also at local level – continues to produce discontent both among the ranks of the pentastellatos and the dems (above all of the former Renzians). Many on social media identify the civic alliance in support of Vincenzo Bianconi as the true cause of the Umbrian flop. Today, in the Regional Council, the stalls of pentastellate councilors are empty. They are all in Rome for the meeting with Luigi Di Maio, to sum up after the defeat in Umbria: at the center of the discussion, the possible agreement with Pd in Emilia-Romagna. The telastones of the pentastellate exponents remain strictly silent, waiting to find a unified political line. So far they have argued against an agreement with the PD for the regional elections and for supporting Bonaccini's candidacy.
At Imola, the M5s breathes a sigh of relief for Sangiorgi's departure from the scene. His mandate was rather troubled: he saw five councilors of the Giunta leave the scene due to resignation or dismissal. "We could do everything, with a strong political strength to the Government, with a strong council group that supported me and a junta that worked so hard, but the conditions no longer exist, mainly due to the few within the City Council who had to support me, "the former mayor said from the stage. Fabrizio Favilli, at the head of the fringe of the six dissidents who have long been on the way with the Sangiorgi, replies to her on Facebook, accusing her: "Our 5-Star assessors" have defended her in every situation, even in the face of gross inconsistencies, she humiliated them in front of the whole of Imola, making them talk about what they would do in the future and then take the floor and resign. It is time to proudly say that this person had nothing to do with us and to start from our founding values ". And a divorce between the Sangiorgi and the Movement seems now a matter of hours: “Il M5s no longer exists: he died with Casaleggio. We have seen them take over leading roles people without art or part, lose 6 million votes and pretend nothing happened "said the former first citizen, today, to E 'Tv." I expected support from the national M5s – she complained – but when I went to ask help on important issues, I had embarrassing answers. There was a wall and, in large part, contributed Massimo Bugani. I was a commissarial mayor for 15 months, when I came to the Commune it was like entering the forest of flying daggers ”. Sangiorgi reiterates the disagreement with the political choices that the Movement has made at the national level: "Until the day before we have said everything Pd, and then we go to the government together? Then we saw that a beautiful project, the tax administration project ".
