Two killers, dressed in black, armed with rifles, started shooting at people, then escaped, taking refuge in a small grocery store in an area where a historic Jewish community resides. The area was immediately isolated, roads closed as well as schools. Special police squads with armored vehicles arrived from New York. The siege continued until, at 2.30 pm, the killing of the two killers was announced.Once inside the convenience store, the agents found the bodies of three other people. At the moment the identities of the couple of assassins have not been provided – some media have described them as a man and a woman – and no hypothesis of motive have been advanced.
