A young man was kept in chains mentally disabled. For this reason the two people were arrested in Naro, in the province of Agrigento. These are the two boy's guardians. The investigation was coordinated by Agrigento's chief prosecutor Luigi Patronaggio and deputy Gloria Andreoli. The two guardians – of the spouses of Naro aged 52 and 53 – have been accused, by carabinieri and prosecutors, of the hypothesis of the crime of ill-treatment and kidnapping of the 30-year-old mentally disabled.
The investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Agrigento started with a report. The investigators have installed cameras and, thanks to stalking and interceptions, have rebuilt the days of horror experienced by the mentally disabled, kept tied up with a chain at the foot.
