IN EUROPE ONLY HYBRID
Honda's hybrid system favors the electric motor, thus reversing the traditional paradigm where the endothermic is the main one and the electric assists, replicating the powertrain of the big brother CR-V Hybrid.
The hybridization will not be the only characteristic of this new Jazz that offers WiFi hotspots on board, new infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless, wider front seats, back seat with thicker padding to improve passenger comfort and the promise of so much versatility.
The hybrid system, in fact, finds its place between the chassis and the engine compartment to maximize the space on board thanks to the central tank (under the front seats), a feature that has made it possible to implement the Magic Seats foldable or foldable.
Even the ADAS do not take second place: the suite Honda Sensing it uses a new generation front HD camera, more modern than the previous system and able to recognize horizontal signs and docks without curbs. Among the proposed ADAS we find the emergency automatic braking with night detection, for pedestrians and cyclists, the adaptive cruise control (ACC) and the lane keeping on urban, extra-urban and highway roads. Combined, the two systems follow the traffic even at low speeds.
The Honda Jazz hybrid will be available in Europe from mid-2020.
