We waited a long time for the new Freebox Delta and the Freebox One, but Le Monde just mentioned the existence of a new Freebox that would be announced in November 2019. This is not the first time we talk about this new box, which was already discussed in September. The latter will also be equipped with Android TV, like the Mini 4K (2015).
This will not be a high-end Freebox like the Delta, but a much more accessible box. Xavier Niel has already mentioned it at Capital Markets Day: "The goal now is to find a center of range that is a transparent accessible offer that makes you dream, it is what we work on taking our historical values and in the same way, to be able to convince subscribers all having a box that does not cost a fortune to manufacture".
This new Freebox would therefore be a replacement for the Mini 4K, we know for the moment that it will run Android TV and it should be equipped with a SoC ARM Amlogic S905X2.
