Found dead at home in Rogno Stopped the brother who lived with him

He would hit his brother several times, causing wounds that eventually led to his death. For this reason, M. M., 37, was arrested for the murder of Hicham Mouhal, 34, found lifeless in his home in Rogno, which he shared with his older brotheris.

The accusation is of voluntary murder.

The young 34-year-old was found, on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 October, lifeless on the sofa in an apartment in a three-story building in Via Roma at number 19, a road parallel to the Tonale state road that climbs Alto Sebino towards Val Camonica. The Moroccan would have died as a result of a degenerate quarrel and would have been hit by kicks and punches to the face inside the house which appears to be headed to his older brother.

The dispute goes back to the night of Tuesday, October 22, but only at 2 pm on Wednesday, the victim's father, who lives in another apartment in the same building, found his son lifeless and called for help. Only in the following hours did the Carabinieri discover that Hicham Mouhal had actually been killed and suspects were then directed to his brother who was questioned by the carabinieri at the Bergamo provincial command until late on Wednesday night. The case is followed by the prosecutor Antonio Pansa, on Friday there will be the guarantee questioning before the investigating judge.

According to what was reconstructed by the investigators between the two brothers, both with a criminal record and with problems of alcoholism, a strong quarrel would have arisen on Tuesday evening for reasons not yet clarified. The youngest, following the beatings, would have ended up in a wardrobe with glass in the bedroom. He was then wounded on the living room sofa. Death, from the first investigations, would be due to suffocation. The victim was found face down with her face on a pillow. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday at the Pope Giovanni Hospital in Bergamo. It was his father, the following day, who alerted the 118. The arrested person had told him that he had gone to sleep and did not know what had happened to his brother. To the Carabinieri, during the interrogation, he confirmed the dispute but not the murder.
