Tragedy in Monterotondo, just outside Rome, where an 8-year-old girl got sick yesterday while she was at school and died this morning in the hospital.
On the spot the 118 had intervened. When the sanitary ware, according to what we learn, arrived with an ambulance and a medical one the little one didn't breathe.
Reanimation and assisted ventilation were performed. The child was transported to be stabilized at the Monterotondo hospital and then transferred to the Gemelli by helicopter.
Today, shortly after 10, the tragic news. The autopsy, scheduled for the next few days and arranged by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Tivoli, will determine the causes of death. The child had an illness on 22 October, after eating.
