Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP 7) had a good day on Friday. The Greek first got his ticket to the London Masters (10-17 November), which he will participate for the first time, before defeating defending champion Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals of the 1000 Masters of Shanghai.
Tsitsipas will face Daniil Medvedev (ATP 4) on Saturday for a place in the final.
After dropping out of the US Open due to a shoulder injury, Djokovic was back in action last week. The world No1 won the Tokyo tournament.
