In Turin, the new "sotfware factory" of Aruba will be built by the end of the year. The location will be near the Polytechnic and within a year it will recruit 15-20 professionals. And it will be a small turning point for the company founded in 1994, because after years spent becoming the most important Italian provider of data center services and web domain registration, Aruba also wants to grow in the creation of computer programs.
But why Turin? As evidence of the note of the company, because the city "already sees an important strategic induced at a technological level and a pool of resources and talents to rely on to carry out the development activities foreseen in the various phases of the project". The goal is to create a structure capable of covering the entire software development cycle, which will cover segments such as cloud computing, data security, the digitalisation of public administration, but also artificial intelligence, internet of things, blockchain .
"It is an opportunity to involve talents and enthusiasts in the information technology sector – explains Andrea Lugo, director of human resources -. Never as in this period of digital transformation, we are witnessing a ferment and software development is an essential element within the business, as it represents a fundamental means through which the interaction between company and customer is created ". And he continues: "Our software factory was born with the aim of providing experiences and not just functionality, setting new standards of innovation within a business that supports and supports data center, which has now made us known throughout Europe and beyond ".
IT architects, project managers, analysts and developers will be recruited and gradually the initial core of professionals will be increased. All this will be done with the support of Experis, the Manpower company specialized in the search for talents of this type, which has big projects for the "factory":
