CUTS IN VIEW – On 1 June 2018 theAlfa Romeo presented its four-year development plan, which included the seven models arriving between 2018 and 2022 (here to know more). Among these, the update of the Giulietta, Giulia and Stelvio, two SUVs, one compact and one large, and two sports cars, the GTV and the 6C. Today, after almost a year and a half, little seems to be left of that plan, as we learn from the last quarterly report of the FCA: from now to 2022 the Giulia and Stelvio magazines, the compact SUV Tonale and a suv will be launched smaller, in the so-called segment B.

Here above the models foreseen by the plan announced in 2018, higher than those envisaged by the updated plan.
ALSO A B SUV – The first models to be launched will be the Alfa Romeos Giulia and Stelvio, which will be renewed in 2021, after a slight restyling announced by the end of 2019. In 2021 theAlfa Romeo Tonale, appeared in preview in recent weeks (here to learn more), while in the 2022 will be the turn of the small suvs. The Tonale will have a hybrid system with rechargeable batteries from the outside, while the small crossover will also be pure electric. In the quarterly plan it is also written that the FCA will continue to consider the Alfa Romeo a prestigious brand, despite the cut in investments and the lower offer of models.
