When firefighters arrived at the scene around 13:41 on Tuesday, the house was already ravaged by the flames. The men of the fire were still at work three hours after the beginning of their intervention. The police speak of "a complete disaster".
The means deployed to contain the flames were impressive: there were two pumper, three tanks, a ladder, a command vehicle and a rehabilitation.
The resident of the house was taken to the hospital after being ill. This is not due to fumes, but to fragile health.
