This meeting was an opportunity to highlight the markets and solutions offered by Airbus commercial aviation, helicopter, defense and space solutions to satisfy a diverse clientele around the world. The manufacturer also reaffirmed the prominent place of the Moroccan industry in aeronautics, while providing for a visit to its subsidiary Stelia Aerospace, a global player in the design and production of equipment and fuselages.

In 2018, Airbus Helicopters and Heliconia expanded their partnership with the creation of a new maintenance center in Marrakech for the H125 and H135 helicopters operating in West Africa. This new center adds to the Airbus network, which has four other centers on the African continent. For the 2018 financial year, the group, which employs 134,000 people, generated a turnover of 64 billion euros. Airbus is the European leader in mission aircraft, in-flight refueling, combat, and transport and is also a leader in the space industry.
