United States: A teenager stabbed in front of fifty young people who filmed the scene

In the United States, a teenager was stabbed to death on Monday in a parking lot of a shopping center in New York under the eyes of fifty young people who preferred to film the scene, rather than intervene.

The victim, 16-year-old Khaseen Morris, found herself in the middle of a brawl over a young girl, reported Le Figaro. The day before the fight, she had asked Khaseen to take her home, which made her ex-boyfriend jealous of rage.

After classes on Monday afternoon, while Khaseen and his friends ended up going to the pizzeria, a car landed and "six to seven guys attacked the victim and some of his friends," he said. The culprit, 18-year-old Tyler Flach, was arrested on Wednesday and tried Thursday by the federal district court in Hempstead, New York. Police continue to search the images of the fight, which have been widely shared on social networks, to remove them and use it to identify other culprits, the paper said.

"It's time to contact us and tell us who did this, and why. (…) You have to face the situation. When I get my hands on you, it will not help any more. Are your friends dying and you're here to make videos? It's odious, "said Fitzpatrick at a press conference prior to Flach's arrest.

The victim and his family had just moved into the neighborhood. Khaseen was therefore educated in his new school only for a fortnight.
