Tour of Spain 2019 Last chance of sprint before the final stage in Madrid
The stage is qualified as flat but its layout is still slightly broken, with a port at the beginning (La Paramera, third), in the foothills of Gredos. The stage is in decline, but the last kilometer is uphill, for the narrow and cobblestones streets of Toledo. Teams with sprinters will try to control the stage, but those who try to jump from the peloton will also have their choice.
The stage will leave vila at 13:35, Spanish peninsular time and follow El Barraco, El Tiemblo, La Atalaya, San Martn de Valdeiglesias, Santa Mara del Titar, Sotillo de la Adrada, Ashes, Walls of Escalona, Escalona, Maqueda, Val de Santo Domingo, Torrijos and Albarreal de Tajo . The arrival in Toledo is scheduled between 17:24 and 17:48.
Cousin Roglic (Jumbo Visma) also start this last stage as leader, followed by Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) at 2:50 and from Nairo Quintana (Movistar) at 3:31.
