I forgot to say that Alex Roudayna is known as Chikorita, that Pokemon of the one who adopted the nickname and that “for many it was easier to pronounce it”, before the proper name. Nor did I say that she is Mexican and that in early September her image was multiplied in newspapers and social networks because she conquered the 150 kilometers of the TranSelkirks Run, in the Revelstoke Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. Chikorita accomplished the feat in a total of 18 hours and 43 minutes, surpassing her closest pursuer by more than three and a half hours. In fact, it was the second to finish the five-day test in both branches.
Traveling 150 kilometers is a feat. Now, imagine that it is in the mountains, with great chances of getting lost and withstanding ups and downs at a superhuman pace. Alex says he doesn't think about the race and less about the rivals – it doesn't matter if they are men or women. “The longer the distance, the more chance I have to connect with myself. On the mountain you disconnect from everything. ”
She likes to disconnect, create her own world with those beings who obsess her and repeat herself in her body as a tattoo. Like those faces of the Joker and the "HA HA HA" engraved on his left biceps. Also the smile of the cat that shines and disappears in the story of Alice in Wonderland, a product of the brilliant mind of that writer known under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll (will Chikorita know that her favorite writer also had Asperger's Syndrome ?)
