Manchester United does not intend to part with David de Gea (28 years old) without at least trying to renew it before. The Spanish goalkeeper ends the contract next summer of 2020, so he has one season left as the starting goalkeeper of the Reds Devils. In this context, the board of directors of the club already works on the expansion of the footballer. It is logical to see everything the goal has given the club in recent years thanks to its stops; the goal is well secured if De Gea is under sticks.

The club's interest in renewing the player is long, there was even a period of time in which it was feared that the keeper would decide not to sign, since he wanted to delay the signing until January and could be negotiating with another entity in the meantime. However, according to The guardian, now it would be talking about an agreement between the two parties. In this way, David de Gea would continue to be linked to the Manchester team.

The Spanish goalkeeper would receive a salary equivalent to that of Paul Pogba, or about £ 290,000 per week, or a little less than € 16 M per year. Perhaps what the player expected was a similar salary increase, since, as the years go by and add minutes linked to Manchester United, the more his figure becomes in the squad. We'll see how it all ends.
