The redesigned Nissan Versa 2020 makes its debut in Puerto Rico

The company said technology is one of the top priorities in the new Nissan Versa.

Now, in its third generation, this model incorporates the Nissan Safety Shield 360, designed to provide greater safety to both the driver and passengers, through technologies such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Asist .

The equipment also incorporates intelligent technologies such as Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Driver Alertness and Intelligent Cruise Control – attributes that are not usually found in the subcompact sedans category.

Exterior design of "emotional geometry"

The design is also an advantage that stands out in the Versa 2020, combining an attractive and expressive exterior with an innovative interior, as well as top-class equipment and quality. With this model, Nissan has reinvented the entry-level sedan with a design that leaves a lasting first impression and of which its owners can be proud to be seen.

With Nissan's "emotional geometry" design language, Versa adapts key elements, such as the grill V Motion, the headlights and taillights in the form of Boomerang, C pillars and floating roof. The result is an entry-level car that designers describe as a modern, energetic, provocative and attractive compact sedan.

Another aspect that stands out from Versa is its exterior dimensions: 1.6 inches longer, 1.8 inches wider, than the previous version of Versa, and a lower height of 2.3 inches. These new dimensions provide passengers with easy entry and exit of the vehicle. In addition, the new design offers ample space in the trunk with a cargo space capacity of 14.3 cubic feet.

The entry price of Versa in each of its grades is as follows: Versa S, 5-speed manual transmission has a starting price of $ 17,400, Versa S, Xtronic has an MSRP of $ 18,610. Meanwhile, the Versa SV (Xtronic) is available with an MSRP of $ 20,010 and Versa SR (Xtronic) with an MSRP of $ 21,010.

The fuel economy for Xtronic transmission models is 32 mpg city, 40 mpg highway and 35 mpg combined.

The Nissan Versa model since its introduction in the market in 2007, positioned itself as one of the leading sales cars in the compact economic category and the new Versa 2020 sedan is projected to remain among the best-selling vehicles in the segment.
