The Audi e-tron Sportback 2020 will be at the 2019 Los Angeles show

Among the novelties presented at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, Audi put the e-tron Sportback 2020, the configuration of the electric SUV with a coupé body for a few seconds. We could see this same unit a few months ago in the Geneva salon, with the same camouflage paint on the body, in which orange and black tones predominate.

To see it in detail and a conventional painting, we will have to wait until November, specifically on the 19th, when the brands reveal their novelties to the press on the occasion of the 2019 Los Angeles show.

The dimensions will be similar to those of the standard e-tron, which is already on sale from 82,440 euros. In the case of Sportback, the 'zero emissions' model will be provided with somewhat more sporty touches, which will be seen, above all, in the strongest fall of the rear.

The latter will benefit a more elegant profile but, without official data on the table, we assure you that it will slightly reduce the volume of the trunk, compared to the 660 liters offered by the conventional e-tron.

The same will happen with the space reserved for passengers in the rear seats, which will lose some space, mainly in the head area.

Unless the manufacturer has saved an 'ace in the sleeve', the Audi e-tron Sportback will have the same electric propulsion system that we already know. That is, it will have two engines, with a total power of 408 hp and a maximum torque of 664 Nm.

Using the same 95 kWh battery, it should approve an approximate autonomy of 417 kilometers.

It is expected that, thanks to the aerodynamics of the Sportback body, slightly improve the performance of the standard e-tron and perhaps, we can even attend in Los Angeles the announcement of some more spicy 'S' version, by the hand of Audi Sport.

The marketing of the Audi e-tron Sportback 2020 is planned for next year, with a starting price that will undoubtedly exceed that of the body that is currently sold.
