TRIESTE. Now there are no more doubts. The 75-year-old found dead late yesterday (Saturday 2 November) in an apartment building on Via del Veltro 45, in the district of San Giacomo, was killed. The victim was called Libero Foti.
Today morning it was learned that his body, found on the balcony of an apartment on the third floor where the old man had lived for years, had been closed in a black nylon bag. On the body a cut was found under the throat.
State police investigations continue feverishly, coordinated by the prosecutor Federico Frezza. On-site forensics specialists intervened. The death dates back to about two weeks ago.
Foti lived with a Ukrainian woman who, however, would have no news for several weeks and is currently untraceable.
