The price of Texas intermediate oil (WTI) fell 5.7% on Tuesday and closed at $ 59.34 a barrel, after Saudi Arabia's announcement that oil supplies have returned to levels prior to drone attacks from the weekend to its main refineries.
At the end of live operations on the New York Mercantile Exchange, WTI futures contracts for delivery in October subtracted $ 3.56 from Monday's close.
Texas oil prices thus react to the information coming from Saudi Arabia, after registering a record rise in decades of almost 15% yesterday to what was a 5% reduction in world supply for the attacks on Saudi Aramco, the oil company in the world and today said it maintains its plans to go public.
