SNCF Line: Is the Paris-Brive train often late? – Brive-la-Gaillarde (19100)

It is the only SNCF line linking Limousin to Paris. The Intercités Paris Austerlitz-Brive serves La Creuse (La Souterraine), Haute-Vienne (mainly Limoges) and Corrèze (Brive).
As Targets capital in Auvergne, the association Emergency Line POLT militates for a better service on the line Paris-Orléans-Limoges-Toulouse, via Brive and Cahors. In its online searchable manifesto, Emergency Line POLT asks "immediately" that the line be "regular, timed and punctual".

The SNCF publishes in free access the punctuality figures of all its lines. We have data from July 2016 to July 2019 in the direction Paris-Brive only and until December 2017 in the direction Brive-Paris.

It's a little worse than the Paris-Clermont line, whose delays are regularly pointed fingers by passengers. In 2019 (from January to July), 86.6% of trains in the direction Clermont-Ferrand – Paris arrived on time on average. In the Paris – Clermont-Ferrand direction, 89.4% of the trains were on time.

When the trains are late, they are on average … 49 minutes on arrival at Brive.
It's very similar to the Paris-Clermont line. In 2019, the late trains were on average 44 minutes from Paris and 47 minutes from Clermont.
