It could be announced even before the elections, with Donald Trump having trouble hiding that he wants the next Prime Minister is Binyamin Netanyahu with whom he has excellent personal relations and with whom he shares the same political vision.
According to Amit Segal, it could be a mutual defense agreement whereby one country would automatically come to the aid of the other if it were threatened. This is obviously a one-way scenario, but it would have an important meaning for Israel, which lives under the Iranian threat and would bring new success to the Prime Minister before the elections in which he plays for the whole.
