The offer includes the concession and operation, as well as some facilities in the two fields, called Cupiúba and Carapanaúba and currently operated by Petrobras exclusively, as indicated in a statement sent to the financial market.
The two fields operate through two land concessions and with integrated facilities, located in the municipality of Coari, in the state of Amazonas.
The average production of both in 2018 was about eighty barrels of oil per day and 82,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
"This operation is aligned with the optimization of our catalog and the improvement in the distribution of the company's capital, with the objective of generating value for our shareholders," the note added.
The announcement is part of the asset sales plan that Petrobras has been carrying out for several years in order to get away from the economic crisis in which it was surrounded by corruption scandals and the fall in oil prices.
