Tile of Spain app at CERSAIE’19
For the eighth consecutive year, Tile of Spain with the support of ICEX has developed a specific application (app) for tablets and smartphones (Apple and Android) with the catalog of Spanish exhibitors at the fair. The app offers information about Spanish exhibitors: latest news on Spanish ceramics, location plans, contact, images, contact information, etc …, as well as useful filters to search companies by name, sector and pavilion.
App “Tile of Spain – CERSAIE’19” It aims to be a useful tool with which visitors can easily organize their visit, providing extensive information and even offering the possibility of creating a list of favorites to organize the visit. The updated version of the app has been adapted to the needs of users in an instantaneous, sustainable environment with the most intuitive design.
There has also been a short promotional video that explains the functionality of the CERSAIE’19 App, under the professional aesthetic associated with the umbrella brand Tile of Spain visible on the microsite and the most important social networks.
The application can be downloaded from the App store (iPhone and iPad) and on Google Play for Android, there is also a web version.
Both the development of the App and the new campaign are part of the activities of the Sector Promotion Plan, co-financed by sector e ICEX Spain Export and Investment.
The US is consolidated as the first destination of Tile of Spain outside the EU (2nd in the general ranking)
Evolution of exports from January to June 2019
The sector export in the first six months of 2019, made to 185 countries, it has been € 1,465 million, with an increase of 1.1% over the same period of 2018. The global trend of a slowdown in sales and a moderation of the increase. This weakening is general, affects most sectors and world trade.
The natural market is still Europe where during the first 6 months of 2019 50.7% of exports were destined (44% to the European Union). The increase in sales to the EU It was 7%. France (+ 7.5%), United Kingdom (+ 8.5%) Italy (+ 3.3%) and Portugal (+ 14.7%) in positive. Germany registers signs of slowdown with a slight decrease in sales (-1.4%).
USA is consolidated as the first destination of Tile of Spain out of the EU (2nd in the general ranking) and maintains its growth although reducing intensity (+ 10.7%). In negative, the areas of Maghreb (-19%), Middle East (-9.4%) and East of Europe (-3.8%) where the Russian Federation It falls around 8%.
