NFON AG, the only pan-European provider of PBX in the cloud according to its managers, expands its activities in Spain. As explained by the CEO of the company in the meeting with the press, the company has a hundred percent focus on the European market, with a presence in 15 countries, with Germany and England being its main markets, to which France has joined this year. , Italy, where branches have been opened during 2019, in addition to Spain.
Since its founding in 2007, NFON AG has registered continuous growth. The IPO in 2018 (Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Prime Standard) was an important step for its expansion plans. With the launch of the new main Cloudya product, the acquisition of Deutsche Telefon Standard AG at the beginning of the year and the opening of more locations in Italy and France, the corporate strategy continues to focus on growth.
As its CEO Hans Szymanski details: Already in the first half of the year we are showing great success in the growth of the number of companies. We are intensifying business in the existing key countries, with a clear focus on becoming the number one in Europe, as it is already in Germany. The growth, he explained, is not only organic through its partner channel, but also through acquisitions, such as that carried out in Germany by the IP telephone provider Deutsche Telefon Standard. We have the right equipment and solutions for it, he concludes.
Hans Szymanski explained that, after 12 years of existence, NFON continues with a start-up mentality, wanting to undertake things, but on the other hand we are already adults because we have developed an entire organization and processes that have led us to be in the Frankfurt stock exchange.
NFON has in Europe has more than 30,000 customers and 400,000 active phone extensions. The balance of the first six months of 2019 has been positive, according to Szymanski. Total revenues have increased by 28%, representing 26 million euros. The goal is to end the year with a turnover of 60 million euros. To reach this figure, we expect a second half of the year more active, says the company's CEO.

Growth in Spain
Spain is one of the main cloud phone markets in Europe and also a key country when it comes to transformation and digitalization and, therefore, offers a lot of room for growth, explains David Tajuelo, CEO of NFON Iberia. The launch and stabilization of NFON Iberia is complete and the next step is now the expansion through the channel, including a massive expansion of the network of partners. We will also increase the number of employees in Madrid by 50 percent and plan to grow from eight to twelve by the end of 2019.
The expansion of the team will focus on channel management. For the necessary space, the Spanish branch has completed the expansion of its location in September and combined the duplication of office space with a transfer to the center of Madrid.
