MARKETS A.LATINA-Prudence is imposed before the Fed announces

    BOGOTÁ, Sep 18 (Reuters) - Latin American markets
they operated with a disparate trend on Wednesday, but with few
movements, because of the caution of investors before they
know the conclusions of the monetary policy meeting of
the United States Federal Reserve.
    * "It has been a very tense week with (the attack on
oil infrastructure in) Arabia and with the Fed issue although
people have discounted a decrease in the interest rate,
the important thing is going to be the tone, the message that the
statement, that is what creates uncertainty, "said Juan David
Ballén, chief economist at Casa de Bolsa, in Bogotá.
    * The Mexican peso advanced 0.1% and the benchmark
S&P / BMV IPC index, integrated by the actions of the 35
most liquid firms on the market, down 0.4%
    * The currency of Brazil, the real weakened 0.58%
to $ 4.1021, while the Bovespa stock index
 down 0.36% to 104,239.75 points, with investors
in addition to the expectation of what the central bank of
Brazil after the market closes.
    * The Argentine interbank peso traded
stable at 56.52 units per dollar and the Merval stock index
 fell 0.92%.
    * In Colombia, the peso recovered 0.12%, in
so much that the COLCAP index of the stock market lost a
0.08%
    * Peruvian currency fell by third
consecutive session 0.09%, at a minimum of one week, while
the referent of the Lima stock market rose a marginal
0.04%
    * Chilean markets will remain closed for what
subtraction of the week for an extensive holiday for the festivities of the
independence.
