Stellar torpedo Holguin Yordan Manduley Escalona concluded his participation in the 2019 CanAm League. Manduley closed his fifth consecutive season with the Quebec Capitals, a team that this year stayed out of the postseason.
The Calixteño participated in a total of 52 games and his offensive average was 350 with 75 hits in 214 times at bat. This includes 11 doubles, 2 triples, a homer and 27 driven races.
Now in five seasons in that professional league Manduley hit for 313 with 362 hits in 1158 home appearances. It also accumulates 163 runs scored 53 doubles, 5 triples and 7 home runs. He has driven 131 scores.
For his part, the other Cuban in that squad was the initial gardener
Stayler Hernández who in 51 games hit .323 with 4 home runs, 30 RBIs.
These two players are part of the preselection with a view to the Premier November 12 and after a small rest stage they will join their Holguín Industrial teams respectively.
