Five cameras: one with a 48 MP resolution lens, another that allows 3X optical zoom and the "night vision" function to take sharp shots even in low light situations. This is the Motorola One Zoom, the new mobile that the company presented, simultaneously, at the IFA technology fair and at an event that took place in Buenos Aires.

This smartphone, following the market trend, bets on integrating multiple cameras to achieve good shots in different contexts.

Four rear cameras and one front

1. 48 MP main sensor: integra Quad Pixel technology, which offers up to four times more light sensitivity to achieve bright images in low light environments. It also comes equipped with dual hardware optical stabilization (OIS). This helps to keep the lens fixed to prevent “moving” photos from coming out.

In turn, the mode night vision or "night vision", powered by artificial intelligence, also aims to generate photos with greater clarity and definition. This technology is also incorporated in other cell phones of the brand, such as One Vision, for example. This technology is also present in Google Pixel 3.

In the case of other brands, artificial intelligence applied to achieve better shots receives other names but points to the same objective: improve shots, something that, to a greater or lesser extent, companies have improved in recent times thanks to these technological advances .

2. 3X optical zoom: The dedicated 8-megapixel zoom camera offers up to three times the high resolution optical zoom capability (ten times in the case of hybrid zoom), the company said in its official statement. This allows you to take photos with a higher level of detail without having that granulate or blur that may appear when using the digital zoom.

3. Ultra wide angle camera: The ultra wide angle lens of 117º quadruples the capture capacity per frame. This lens, which also offers 16 MP resolution, is designed to take panoramic photos.

4. Depth sensor: The 5 megapixel camera with depth detection works in conjunction with the main camera to automatically apply the bokeh or blurry background to the photos. In addition, as with other mobiles, it is possible to edit the photo once the shot was taken to choose the level of blur intensity.

The front camera offers 25 megapixels and also integrates Quad Pixel technology that, as already mentioned, supports up to four times more light sensitivity.

Other technical specifications

The cell phone has rounded edges and 6.4 "Max Vision OLED display with Full HD resolution (1080p). It also has an integrated fingerprint reader, under the screen.

"The fingerprint reader is equipped with an automatic and continuous learning algorithm, so that it gains speed and accuracy as it is used," the company statement said.

The Motorola One Zoom comes in three colors: techno gray (Electric Gray), boreal purple (Cosmic Purple) and bronze (Brushed Bronze). A detail of the design: the Motorola logo that appears in the back section of the phone acts as an LED indicator, which turns on when a notification is received.

It integrates a 4000 mAh battery that, according to the company, offers a range of up to two days with a single charge. In addition, it supports fast charging (TurboPower).

It has eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, 4GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, expandable to 512 GB. It comes with Android 9.0

The Motorola One Zoom is available from today in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and will later arrive in several Latin American countries. In Argentina it can already be obtained in the official Motorola store and in the main points of sale, from $ 44,999 or in 18 installments without interest of $ 2,499.

It can also be purchased from September 5 in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy and France (the rest of Europe will arrive from September 6). In the United States, it will also be available from September 5 exclusively on Motorola.com as a GSM unlocked device compatible with operators such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
