The report details the trends that are marking the pulse of the financial sector in the European (Spain and Portugal) and Latin American (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and Dominican Republic) markets and included more than 60 interviews with industry experts, 3,600 surveys of users of financial services and official sources from 10 countries.

Ana Fernández Cuesta, Commercial Director of Means of Payment in Minsait for Latin America, and Verónica López Sabater, Consultant in the Department of Applied Economics of AFI, made the presentation of said study in the framework of the meeting organized by the Banking Marketing Association (AMBA ) on trends in Payment Methods, where they assured that "the rise of digital wallets, the new modalities of banks or associations, the strategic alliances of banks with fintech and the gradual establishment of financial innovation sandboxes make up the future of Payment methods".

Another highlight of the report is that digital wallets and electronic payments are the main protagonists of the digital banking revolution in Argentina.
