The 46 thousand employees of General Motors they were called for a strike in U.S, starting at midnight this Sunday, to influence the current negotiations on a new collective agreement, said the powerful union United Auto Workers.
"The union leaders across the country will gathered on Sunday morning after the expiration on Saturday night of agreement General Motors collective effective since 2015 and they decided to wear on strike on Sunday at midnight, "the union said in a release.
The negotiations, initiated in July, are in a alley without exit. The union requires, among other things, salary increases and better health coverage.
