Bitcoin price continues to point at USD 11,000, while most altcoins record lower earnings

Tuesday, September 3 – The price of Bitcoin (BTC) continues to point to USD 11,000, with most altcoins registering small gains on the day. According to CoinMarketCap, the market capitalization of Bitcoin is USD 190,521,232,531.

Bitcoin continues to show an impressive price movement after trading near USD 10,300 for most of the day. At the time of publication, cryptocurrency No. 1 is trading at USD 10,718 – 2.9% more on the day, according to Coin360 data.

The bullish sentiments towards BTC seem to have won once more when the Bitcoin domain reached 70.5%. Cointelegraph reported in early August that former Wall Street merchant Max Keizer said Bitcoin’s dominance is heading towards 80% and that altcoins are dying – and that “they will never return.”

The altcoin No. 1, Ether (ETH), shows a small rebound of 1% and is currently trading at USD 181 per currency.

The Ripple token, XRP, continues to trade constantly and is showing gains of less than 0.1%. At the time of publication, the third most popular currency in the world is trading at USD 0.263.

Cointelegraph reported on September 3 that, according to Whale Alert, a live cryptocurrency transaction tracker, Ripple had moved 500 million of its native XRP tokens (worth around USD 130.1 million at the time of publication) of its custody wallet.

The main losers and winners among the top 20 altcoins

Among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Huobi Token (HT) is showing the biggest earnings of the day – more than 4% to quote at USD 4.11 at the time of publication. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is the second best performer in the top 20 altcoins, showing earnings of just under 4% to trade at USD 304 per currency.

The top 20 worst performer is Tezos (XTZZ) with a loss of 4% on the day. A Tezos is now being traded at USD 1 per currency.

The total capitalization of the cryptocurrency market currently stands at USD 271,000 million, and BTC's share represents 70.5% of the total.
