According to figures from the National Association of Sustainable Mobility (Andemos), in August 2019, 222 hybrid and electric vehicles were sold in Colombia, thus becoming the month in which these types of vehicles were most sold in the country's history.
So far this year, 1,396 hybrid or electric vehicles have already been sold, which represented an increase of 314.2% in relation to the same period of 2018.
The brands that have sold this type of vehicles the most are Kia, Renault and BMW.
As for electric motorcycles, so far in 2019 1,552 units were sold and in August alone they were 190.
