US Open: Andreescu is popular with gamblers

Ranked 15th in the world, Canada's Bianca Andreescu is ranked much better by many book takers in preparation for the US Tennis Open.

For example, on the OddsShark.com site, only four other players have a better rating than she has for winning the Grand Slam tournament. The American Serena Williams dominates in the eyes of the forecasters, ahead of Simona Halep, Naomi Osaka and Ashleigh Barty.

Winner of the Rogers Cup in Toronto on August 11, Andreescu comes immediately after this quartet with a similar rating to Madison Keys, Petra Kvitova and Karolina Pliskova.

Officially 15th seed in the competition, Andreescu must meet in the first round with the American Katie Volynets, 407th in the world, Tuesday.
