14.03: Suzuki, after passing the cut brilliantly in the first round, then made the best use of the only train of new tires available in Q2 with a remarkable 2’04 β³ 815 also obtained thanks to a good trail in the pit straight.
2.00 pm: Tatsuki Suzuki is the first pole position. The Japanese of Team SIC58 Squadra Corse, at the second start at the career pole, scored the best time in qualifying for the Qatar Grand Prix at the end of a very hard session and even started from Q1.

Hello and welcome to LIVE LIVE of the Qatar 2020 Grand Prix, the first seasonal stage of the Moto3 World Championship. In Losail the first direct confrontation between the light class centaurs is staged, who will challenge each other as usual to the point of overtaking at the limit and fairings from the first to the last of the 18 laps scheduled.
Tatsuki Suzuki will start from pole position and will be one of the great favorites for the final success together with the Spaniards Raul Fernandez, Albert Arenas (2nd and 3rd on the grid) and Jaume MasiΓ (6th), the Japanese Ai Ogura (5th) and Kaito Toba (12th, winner in 2019), the British John McPhee (9th) and the Italians Andrea Migno (7th), Tony Arbolino (10th), Celestino Vietti (16th), Romano Fenati (18th) and Dennis Foggia (19th). Attention also to some potentially dangerous outsiders such as the South African Darryn Binder (4th), the Turkish Deniz Oncu (8th) and the Argentine Gabriel Rodrigo (13th). A great comeback is expected from the Czech Filip Salac, ruler of the tests in Qatar but only 20th classified in yesterday’s official tests.
