UBI Banca among the worst at FTSEMib

->UBI Banca recorded one of the worst performances of the day at FTSEMib. The institution’s share price fell by 5.84% to € 3.336, after a suspension due to an excess of a fall.

MF reported the latest moves by the strong shareholders of UBI Banca against the public exchange offer promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo (-3.81% to 2.065 euros). In particular, in the past few hours “the owner of Gewiss, Domenico Bosatelli took the field and, through the Polifin family holding, has decided to grow up to 2.97% of the capital of UBI Banca, strengthening the share held by the Committee Reference Shareholders (CAR). Bosatelli himself reiterated the negative opinion of IntesaSanpaolo’s OPS. MF reminded that the institution led by Carlo Messina must submit the prospectus to Consob by Saturday 7 March.
