The tension in the Assembly has spread to the streets! Two groups faced

Republican People’s Party (CHP) Sakarya Provincial President Ecevit Keleş issued a press statement in front of the Sakarya CHP provincial building to defend CHP Group Deputy Chairman Engin Özkoç, who was injured in the fight between AKP and CHP in the parliament and opened an investigation case.

At the same time, in order to condemn Özkoç, tension was experienced when the members of the Sakarya National Will Non-Governmental Organization and the AKP group wanted to make a press statement in front of the CHP provincial building.

POLICE INTERVENTED

The group of 200 people, who reacted to the words of CHP Group Deputy Parliament Engin Özkoç about President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, came to the CHP Sakarya Province Building at 18:00.

When there was tension between the two groups, the police intervened. Police prevented members of the National Will NGO from approaching the party building. In response, the community wanted to make a statement across the street. Before the press release, both sides were shouting slogans, shouting slogans.

CHP Provincial President Ecevit Keleş stated that Engin Özkoç was not alone. “If you don’t want to hear words, you won’t say words,” Keles said.

A person was taken into custody
