The prototype of the new Maserati MC20 spotted in Milan – La Gazzetta dello Sport

The prototype of the Maserati MC20, the first model of the new Maserati era, was spotted tonight in Milan in Piazza Affari tonight, and in shape it is getting closer and closer to the car that will be officially unveiled in Modena in late May. The mid-engine super sports car, a natural evolution of the multi-victorious MC12 which in 2004 marked Maserati’s return to competitions after 37 years, had been photographed in mulotype clothing in November and in these three months has been modified to take on its current forms. Just as the Tipo 26, in which the number indicates the year of manufacture, was the first racing car to wear the Trident brand, in the same way the MC20 will be the first born of the new era of the Modena-based company. The super sports car, developed by the Maserati Innovation Lab, will be produced at the historic plant in Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, where the construction of a painting line has already started, equipped with advanced innovative technologies with low environmental impact.
