Accompanied in the future by a version Sedan, this A3 Sportback will also see the light in the sporty version, the S3. Focusing on the standard model, it will be 4.34 meters long and 1.82 m wide, with a boot capacity of 380 liters (1,200 with the seats folded down). Aesthetically, the car repackages itself in a more elegant aesthetic than the previous model: it can be seen from the more tapered headlights, from the more refined rear and from the side lines, modern but not tacky.
The wheels will be from 16 inches, although they can be increased to 19, while the suspensions will keep the car 10 millimeters closer to the asphalt of the previous model (15 if sports suspension is chosen).
Aesthetically, the elegance shown and a sign of a guideline always started from Audi and spread over all the brands of the group Volkswagen. The real news, however, is the interior, now more modern, with a 10.25-inch display for instruments (which can be increased to 12.3 inches) and a 10.1-inch display for infotainment. Unlike the more expensive models, the climate controls will be positioned on the dashboard as buttons and not as a touch screen.
The automatic transmission uses a new technology useful to make the dialogue between gearbox and transmission no longer mechanical, and therefore leaves more space for the front seats. THE engines available will be a 1.5 liter petrol engine (also available mild-hybrid) of 150 horsepower, a 1.0 three-cylinder petrol engine of 110 horsepower, and the classic and beloved 2.0-liter TDI diesel, also 150 horsepower (also available in version reduced, 117 horses). The cars will be available with 6-speed manual gearbox, or 7-speed automatic gearbox and double clutch. Finally, in the near future, a Quattro version will be revealed, that is, with all-wheel drive (against the standard one of the car, front).
