Italy-England of the Six Nations 2020 will not be played on March 14th. The tender was officially postponed as a consequence of the spread of the coronavirus and of the decisions taken by the Italian government, as communicated on Thursday afternoon by a statement from the board of the tournament.
“The Six Nations took note of the decree of the Italian Government of 4 March relating to sporting events in the country – reads the press release – The decision was made to postpone all three meetings between Italy and England (Male, Female, U20) scheduled for the weekend of 13-15 March, with the intention of reprogramming them at a later date. ”

For the moment, until further notice, all the other games of the Tournament remain confirmed, but there are great doubts about the possibility that France and Ireland could play in Paris on that same March 14th.
The organizers were keen to stress that it is their intention to complete all three competitions in any case, guaranteeing the dispute of all the matches. However, they reserved the right not to make announcements whatsoever on the possible dates in which to replay the games postponed until the situation remains fluid.
